Circus Scott told the Migration Board that the Latin American dancers get 25,200 crowns a month. But the dancers themselves got another contract of the circus director – of just under 9,000. It reveals Expressen today.

Among the attractions at the popular circus is a group of dancers from Latin America. The dancers’ contract says that they’ll earn 25,200 dollars a month, which director Robert Bronett also stated in the offer of employment sent to the Immigration Service for the dancers to get a work permit.

The lowest salary in the private theater Agreement, plus holiday pay. The contract also states that the company behind Cirkus Scott, Flatgaroo AB stands for the dancers costs for visas and trip to Sweden and back.

But according to data Expressen Robert Bronett in fact signed another contract with the dancers. In the wage of 2035 crowns a week. The contract they received according to an employee, who talked to Expressen, did not see until they came to Sweden.

– We would of course not have it. Then we got the second contract of 25 200 a month and they explained to us that they must deduct tax, visa, travel and accommodation, said the dancer told the newspaper.

According to executives at Circus Scott is the new balance what remains after deductions for visa, travel, accommodation and startling 35 percent, which should correspond to income tax.

But it says Robert Bronett is not correct. His explanation is rather that the dancers are working half-time. The gross salary is about 13,000 dollars and 8,800 is what they get after deductions for accommodation and tax. Robert Bronett says to Expressen that he made a mistake when he reported to the Immigration Service that they would work full time and earn 25,200 dollars a month.

One of the dancers says she feels cheated and that working conditions are dirty. They sleep among others in a bus.

Since Expressen confronted Robert Bronett he has signed a new contract with Teaterförbundet where the new salary is 19,400 crowns. They are employed full time, as it was in the earlier agreement, writes Expressen.
