A couple in their 70s injured seriously in the context of a basement fire in Rottne outside Växjö on Monday. The fire occurred at noon, and according to Växjö hospital to be man’s injuries can be life-threatening, reports P4 Kronoberg.
Both the man and the woman suffered serious burns and smoke inhalation. According to emergency services should be man’s clothes caught fire and the woman should have been injured in connection with that she tried to save the man.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
