Växjö. Tingsryd have taken out insurance against damages due to abusive treatment and discrimination in municipal operations, writes Smålandsposten.
The company that conveyed insurance writes that several agencies in recent years been increasingly harder to municipalities with a claim for damages in such cases.
But the Equality Ombudsman think that municipalities should rather focus on preventing discrimination than to insure against damages.
