Police have cordoned off an area when a seven year old found a hand grenade in Gothenburg.

Now confirm the police’s bomb shelters that the grenade was sharp.

– we are looking for the dog for more weapons nearby, says Peter Adlersson the police.

police raid shelter during the evening went to a wooded area in Västra Frölunda Gothenburg. It was at 17:30 pm as a few children raised the alarm to the police when they discovered something like a grenade.

– We were out and grilled all neighbors. Then the children came running and said they found a bomb, says a local resident.

The child who found the grenade was only seven years old and should have raised it in his hand.

First, laughing and the adults do not think it’s true, but then follows with the kids and discovers that “it looks real.”

– of course we were worried. We walked away and called the police when we saw that it was not something to play with.

Police: the children had the right

Just a few moments later, a police patrol in place at the forest.

And about an hour later, police bomb protection confirm that the kids were right: it was a sharp hand grenade.

– We have defused and rendered harmless grenade now so it’s not dangerous anymore, he said.

“It’s very serious”

They have also taken a dog to the scene to search the forest for more weapons.
