Staff at Arlanda airport found a man in a freight container on a plane from Ethiopia during the morning. The man has applied for asylum in Sweden.

Expressen.se reports that the man has sought asylum in Sweden.

Skagerlind says that at present there is no suspect in the investigation of human smuggling.

Skagerlind says that the man was found in a container that had pressure equalization, and that’s why the man had access oxygen during the trip. She does not know how the container was labeled or what possibly was transported in it. She would not disclose which airline is the case is about.
