The trade association for online games (BOS), which, among other things, collecting company Betfair, Betsson and Unibet, JO notifies the Public Health Agency Director General Johan Carlson for conflict of interest and unauthorized sideline.
Carlson sits, according to BOS, the double chairs as he is both director general of the Public Health authority and member of the gaming company ATG.
“Johan Carlson has personally spoken as official head of ATG’s gaming applications and responded favorably to them. When competing AB Swedish Games has applied, he has however been critical. Thus ATG has been a unique yet illegitimate competitive advantage, “said BOS Secretary General Gustaf Hoffstedt in a press release.
Johan Carlsson himself sees, however, no risk of dual loyalties. There is also no contradiction between promoting ATG and against gambling in the community.
– I am appointed to this Board to work for it as the state’s önskar- a responsible handling of gambling in this company. It is also the agency’s mission, he said.
