The alarm about the fire was received at SOS Alarm clock 23:36. Emergency response forces from Great Skedvi and Sater were alerted to the Forsa Farm, as well as ambulance and police. Later, also called water units from Falun and Borlange.
A barn was unknown reason started to burn.
– There were flames through the gable of the barn when we arrived, says Johan Landborgspromenaden, rescue leaders at the emergency services.
the farm rears pigs and 170 pigs were still inside the burning building.
– We have 20 sows and 150 piglets remain in the building, which has been spent, says Johan Landborgspromenaden.

No people were reported to have been injured in the fire. The farm has several buildings, but there was no risk of further spread.
The cause of fire was during the night is still unknown. Police have been in place and documented and will cordon off the site of a technical study when emergency services have worked clear and when the fire remains cool.
– We will initiate a preliminary investigation of arson to find out what has happened, says Dennis Hebert, duty officer at the police.
Rescue Service estimates that the fighting will continue until through Sunday morning.
