The criticism has been leveled against you you do not shut the club after. Why did not you do it?

– At 02 o’clock we were informed that the man had died, and before that we regarded it as an accident. We did not understand the severity of the accident before the paramedics who took care of the man tied back to us. They came to us and informed. But in retrospect, we should of course have closed, I fully understand that you think it is.

According Palmqvist staff were first on the scene after the accident occurred. At that time, an after work going on since at 15.00, and now had the night club just opened. More than 450 people were then included on Yaki-Da.

– We had full guard in place, and they sounded the alarm to 112. We did not realize the seriousness of the accident then.

Will you be open tonight?

– no, out of respect to the man’s relatives, we have not. We will gather our staff in the evening and inform.

How do you see the security on Yaki-Da?

– As for railings and other equipment as we stick to all safety requirements, but we will of course review it after what has happened. Who can possibly be held responsible for the accident, the police look on – they have joined us in the club yesterday, among others – and we will of course assist them with all the help we can.
