New spring flood in the West next week – Västerbotten Courier

There is still high water along the west coast and a bit inland. Class 1 warning advises and SMHI tracks now a new rise next week.

– It looks as if there may be a second shot due to rain in the forecast, it sinks and then increase it again, says Henrik Spångberg, hydrologist at SMHI.

– the ground has been very saturated by snowmelt and combined with the rain, you could say that it is still a little mini spring flood he says.

the area covered by the warnings are Bay State, except internal Dalsland and northern Vastergotland, throughout Halland County and the western part of Jönköping County, except south of the lake.
