Woman and one-year child struck by a bus – Aftonbladet

A 28-year-old woman and a one-year children have been hit by a bus in central Västerås.

Both have been transferred by ambulance to the hospital.

– According to the reports I have received, the woman crossed a over the road, says Maria Rublã, internal officers of the police in Vasteras.

The accident occurred at a supervised crosswalk near the bus terminal in Västerås at 10: 40 o’clock. According vlt.se, which first reported the incident, the woman is 28 and the child one year old.

– She should have sneddat the road where the buses run from the terminal. She carried the child in her arms, says Maria Rublã, internal officers of the police in Vasteras.



Implemented to hospitals

According to police, the bus driver seen the woman and the child.

– He should have perceived that the woman stayed, but then she was still out on the road in any way, says Maria Rublã.

The two were taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

– It should not have been so fast and they were conscious after the accident, said Maria Rublã.
