Three children hit by rattfyllo

Three teenagers were taken to hospital, one of them with serious injuries after they were hit by a drunk driver on a bridge in Umeå. The driver was arrested on suspicion of aggravated drunken driving.
The driver drove up on the sidewalk and drove the three young people, says Dan Andersson, duty officer at the Västerbotten police.
A 15-year-old boy was seriously injuries, according to the emergency department at the University Hospital in Umeå. The two 14 year old girls’ injuries are described as moderate and mild.
Teg bridge was shut down after the accident but was later on Thursday reopened under Västerbotten Courier online.
The driver, a man born in 1957, is suspected in addition to drunk driving even for gross negligence in traffic and the grievous bodily harm of another.
