Siblings feel good for window cases – Vestmanlands County Newspaper

Two young children fell headlong from the apartment’s windows on the third floor in Malmo.

– Now, they feel good. Doctors say that we have had very lucky and it could have gone much worse, says the mother to Sydsvenskan.

The children feared first received very serious injuries when they struck the stone pavement ten meters down.

The accident occurred on May Day Eve. Sydsvenskan met with the parents on Sunday outside the hospital in Lund, where children are cared for.

The children, a two year old son and a four year old daughter was home alone with two older siblings. The mother went shopping and the father was away for about five minutes for a case.

It is unclear in detail what happened but the family says that the window is not child secured and that the handle is loose.

– My daughter has probably climbed up on the element or on the windowsill. The window went up. She has told me that the little brother pushed her in the back, tell mother.

The father suspected of negligence offense bodily harm.
