The public Sweden procure goods and services for more than 600 billion each year, but not everyone is in compliance with procurement rules. It is launching a new program to help develop public procurement and stimulate new solutions, writes civilian Minister Ardalan Shekarabi (S) together with Lena Micko, chairman of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKL), and Åke Svensson, CEO of Swedish Engineering Industries, DN debate.
“There is great scope to increase quality and efficiency through free and open-Competitive” they write.
The program will contribute to the dialogue between contracting authorities and potential suppliers.
