Pressure on women’s shelters – Swedish Radio

Women’s Shelter Blenda in Växjö was forced last year to decline around 30 battered women shelters.

Helena Fyhr Abrahamsson who is the president of the women’s shelter Blenda says to P4 Kronoberg that the pressure is hard on women’s shelters and that only at the women’s shelter Blenda made contact with five new women exposed last Friday. Right now they only have the opportunity to offer three women shelters.
