The answer to the eternal question may be on the Kepler 438-B.
It is a new discovered planet which is considered to be the one that is most similar to Earth.
Kepler 438 -b may not sound as exciting on the name. Among scholars of the American Astronomical Society gives, however, rise to great interest. The planet is one of the seven planets discovered by scientists at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center. This, by the space telescope Kepler. What makes Kepler 438-b so interesting is that it plus the other planets located in an area where life would be theoretically possible. This is because it is at such a distance to a star (sun) that will prevent water boils and evaporates, or freezes permanently ice.
Kepler 438-b is estimated to be slightly larger than Earth and have rock formations. This, together with the possibility of running water are considered the two most important factors for it to exist life on another planet.
– We are now closer than ever to find a twin planet to Earth, said NASA scientist Fergal Mullally when the discovery was presented on Tuesday.
The planet is not exactly next door to the earth, namely, 470 light years away.
