Class 2 warning of dust storms in Halland – Swedish Radio

Now, SMHI issued a warning strong winds in Skåne and Halland this weekend.

On Saturday, strong winds from west to pull in the southern and south-west is a risk of storm. It will blow sharply in several places, warns Alexandra Ohlsson, duty meteorologist at SMHI.

– In Halland and north-western Skåne is the greatest risk of dust storms, so there we will go out with a class 2 warning.

A class 2 warning means:

Weather Development is expected which may involve danger to the public, considerable material damage and major disruptions in important social functions.
